A Scene from the Film 'Becket' (On the life of St. Thomas Becket) -

I was watching this great movie which was on TV this afternoon.  So deeply inspiring to watch.  This scene came after the excommunication of Lord Gilbert by St. Thomas Becket and this of course did not go down well with the King and here we see how Becket was falsely charged with embezzlement.

A great performance by Richard Burton as St. Thomas and Peter O'Toole as King Henry II.  Oh if only we had Bishops like him...what a wonderful holy and God fearing man St. Thomas Becket was.  May he intercede for us for final perseverance in the time of trial and intercede for all our Bishops.

I love the last comment by the King here in this scene....mincemeat indeed...!
