From the Diary of St. Faustina
Shortly after this, I fell ill [general exhaustion]. The
dear Mother Superior sent me with two other sisters for a rest to Skolimow, not
far from Warsaw . It was at that
time that I asked the Lord for whom else should I pray for. Jesus said that on
the following night He would let me know for whom I should pray.
[The next night] I saw my Guardian Angel, who ordered me to follow him. In a moment I was in a misty place full of fire in which there was a great crowd of suffering souls. They were praying fervently, but to no avail, for themselves; only we can come to their aid. The flames which were burning them did not touch me at all. My Guardian Angel did not leave me for an instant. I asked these souls what their greatest suffering was. They answered me in one voice that their greatest torment was longing for God. I saw Our Lady visiting the souls in purgatory. The souls call her “The Star of the Sea.” She brings them refreshment. I wanted to talk with them some more, but my Guardian Angel beckoned me to leave. We went out of that prison of suffering. [I heard an interior voice] which said, My mercy does not want this, but justice demands it. Since that time, I am in closer communion with the suffering souls.

Prayer for Priests and Bishops souls in Purgatory
My Jesus,
by the sorrows Thou didst suffer in Thine Agony in the
Garden,
in Thy Scourging and Crowning with thorns,
in the Way to Calvary ,
in Thy Crucifixion and Death,
have mercy on the souls of Bishops and Priests in Purgatory,
especially those most forgotten and who have no one else to
pray for them.
I wish to remember all those Priests who ministered to me,
the Priests my heart has never forgotten,
and those I no longer recall due to my frailty of memory.
Do Thou deliver them from the dire torments they endure;
call them and admit them to Thy most sweet embrace in Paradise .
Eternal rest grant unto them, O Lord,
and let perpetual light shine upon them!
Amen.
Pray the Chaplet of Divine Mercy for all Priests and Bishops souls in Purgatory.
We now remember on this great Feast Day of All the Saints who can intercede for us and for the Church. We pray the Litany of All Saints for All Priests and Bishops in Ireland, those living and also for those who are still in Purgatory.

We sinners, we

That Thou wouldst spare us,
That Thou wouldst pardon us,
That Thou wouldst bring us to true penance,

That Thou wouldst vouchsafe to preserve our Apostolic Prelate, and all orders of the Church in holy religion,
That Thou wouldst vouchsafe to humble the enemies of holy Church,
That Thou wouldst vouchsafe to give peace and true concord to Christian kings and princes,
That Thou wouldst vouchsafe to grant peace and unity to the whole Christian world,
That Thou wouldst call back to the unity of the Church all who have strayed from her fold, and to guide all unbelievers into the light of the Gospel
That Thou wouldst vouchsafe to confirm and preserve us in Thy holy service,
That Thou wouldst lift up our minds to heavenly desires,
That Thou wouldst render eternal blessings to all our benefactors,
That Thou wouldst deliver our souls, and the souls of our brethren, relations, and benefactors, from eternal damnation,
