Tomorrow, I would just like to remind you that we are starting a Novena for our Bishops and Priests in Ireland.
It is simply a Novena where we pray the Chaplet of Divine Mercy each day, meditating on the Passion of Our Lord who suffered for all of us individually. During this Novena one can also pray additional Prayers if you wish and also offer up the Holy Mass. Each day I will be putting up a small meditation on the Priesthood either from St. Faustinas Diary or from the writings of the Saints or an excerpt from the Church documents etc. We will also focus on different groups of Priests and Bishops each day. Tomorrow for instance we will begin with our own Priests in our Parish and our own Diocesan Bishop.
Tomorrow 24th October is the Feast of St. Anthony of Claret (Archbishop). We finish on the 1st November the Feast of All Saints. On that day we will also pray the Litany of the Saints for our Priests and Bishops of Ireland.
