I think we ought to be careful not to isolate even further those who feel that many of the traditions of the Church have been put to one side. To criticise those who may seem overly pious is wrong.
We have seen much devastation in our Church especially with regard to The Liturgy of the Holy Mass and we see in many Churches a serious lack of respect for the Presence of Jesus in the Holy Eucharist.
It is unfortunate when Bishops criticise these people who to them seem 'stuck in the past' instead of working on ways to restore respect, reverence and beauty to the Holy Sacrifice of the Mass.
