Young Catholics need authentic spiritual and fraternal support in every Parish

Youth 2000's Summer festival took place the

weekend before last and was a great success. This weekend in All Hallows the Legion of Mary will have their Youth Conference, which is always very enjoyable.

All these events are good and necessary but it is also very important that young people find support for their spiritual growth in the Catholic faith in their own Parish.

Is there an active youth apostolate in every Parish such as a Youth 2000 group, Legion of Mary for younger members, Catechesis group etc. It is important to have a group that is strong in teaching the Truths of our faith which also has a strong sense of fraternity and which would avoid the development of cliques in their group.  Authentic  witness of charity towards all members from leaders especially, is vital for growth.
